Who'se your LEAST favorite singer/ band/ actor?

The other thread got me thinkin......Kid (effing) Rock, I could live without, (talk about talentless).

Never cared much for any rappers or country.

Heavy Metal always seemed overrated to me.

bnorth 01-21-2014 03:49 PM

Actor for me is Robert Downey Jr he played Julian in Less Than Zero:eek:. I can not take him serious as Iron Man now or some reason.:D

Big Six 01-21-2014 06:21 PM

Can't agree with you on RD Jr...did you ever see Chaplin? Amazing...

Have you seen less than zero? It just ruined all his stuff after for me, like Ned Beatty in Deliverance only worse.

Writehooks 01-21-2014 10:38 PM

Justin Beiber and Jim Carrey.
As a proud Canuck living and working in China, I am reminded at least once a week that these two pathetic excuses for "talent" also hail from The Great White North. It's embarrassing.

Jim65 01-22-2014 10:00 AM

Keeping it in musical genres that I like, I truly hate Guns n Roses.

DaveW 01-22-2014 11:13 AM

I'd have to say Adam Sandler or Pauly Shore - two terrible actors.

bigtrain 01-22-2014 11:58 AM

Andy Samberg recently won a Golden Globe as Best Actor in a TV Comedy Series. I think he stinks.

DaveW 01-22-2014 12:40 PM

Well at least you've got William Shatner and Mike Meyers.

Check out Kiss,Kiss,Bang,Bang. It might just save RDJr for you. Absolutely great flick...

People I hate....Hmmm. Yeah, musically, just about most current acts...Scott Stapp comes to mind first and foremost though. Absolutely love Creed, however he's grown into a vocal caricature of his old self...He caught a few things that worked, then suddenly overdid it, to the point where he sounds ridiculous(the rest of the band still sounds great though)... Newer Metallica also bugs me. Just comes off as forced to me..

Actor-wise. I'd say, I hate Val Kilmer, despite the fact that I LOVE most movies he's been in. Dude just annoys me, but has chosen some great roles over the course of his career. Tom Cruise also bugs me, possibly to the point, where I can't even enjoy his movies anymore..

And I hate Disco.

earlywynnfan 01-28-2014 07:47 PM

I can't believe Adam Sandler is still doing the same role he did when he was on MTV in the 80's. How can someone NOT grow in 30 years??

And I'll probably be shot for this, but James Taylor just puts me to sleep.

Right?!?! The dude sucks! It would be ok if it wasn't so clear how cool he thinks he is. My wife think he's good looking too (I just don't see it) but concedes he's sort of a tool bag.

--- I did see American Hustle and he was funny in that.. Can't stand him in other stuff though.

I hate modern adult contemporary stuff. Whatever genre you call stuff sung by the band Train. I absolutely can't stand it. Songs like "Drops of Jupiter" and "Hey Soul Sister". Ugh.

esiason14 02-06-2014 08:07 AM

Keanu Reeves, Jim Carrey, Nicolas Cage, Tyler Perry, Vin Diesel, Brendan Fraser, Ashton Kutcher, that guy from Friends...which one? All of them.

Can't stand Rush, any and all rap, and Green Day

Taylor Swift. Listen, bitch, if 100 guys have cheated on you, maybe you're the problem?

Bieber, too. I'm not a hateful guy, but if he pulled a James Dean, I don't think I'd shed a tear. And if Miley Cyrus's twerking ass happened to be in the passenger seat, my eyes would still be dry.

This entire post would have made perfect sense 15 years ago when all of the above mentioned were actually relevant. No offense, just an observation. Also what's with all the Green Day hate (not you novakjr, just in general)? Kei$ha, Bieber, Miley are obvious choices. I'd add the geek from Big Bang Theory and Kevin Hart (he tries soooo hard and is just not funny) for me.

I actually worked with Adam for a few years in a row, and he has some quick funny wit. However, he does do pretty much the same things in each film. One is hi stupid "yelling voice".

Singer Kesha, I dont even think shes cute
band Robin thicke since he stole the Marvin Gaye song, I'll change the station
actor- Rebecca Demornay, nastiest person I have ever worked with
actor 2 shia Lebouf

PowderedH2O 05-26-2014 02:06 PM

Dave Matthews Band - I actually liked the first song I ever heard from them in 1996. The problem is, I've heard 100 other songs that sound just like that one and each other. I can't decide whether the songs are the same, or if it is just Dave's droll voice that makes them sound that way. Either way, I'll pass.

Interesting on Rebecca---I always thought she was sexy---you can tell my age---and good looking too but I dont know anything about her----I am not a Jim Carey fan

the 'stache 07-14-2014 05:32 AM

Rebecca De Mornay could be the biggest bi___ in Hollywood. That's fine with me. For about 10 years, she was at the top of my fantasy boink list. She was one smoking hot woman back then.

Not a fan of Keanu, Glyn? What is it, his complete lack of acting range?

Speed, bus racing down the highway, the overpass is missing a big part of road.

Keanu "whoa!"

The Devil's Advocate. "Your father, ably played by Al Pacino, is the devil himself! That's why you've won every single case you've taken. No matter how evil the defendant, you just keep on winning because lucifer is pulling strings!

Keanu "whoa!"

The Matrix. "Neo, you are the chosen one! You are the one that will save mankind. Everybody that has gone against Agent Smith has died, but you, being the chosen one, can defeat him!"

Keanu "whoa!"

The guy who plays Hodor on Game of Thrones, though he can only say his own name, still displays more acting range than Keanu.

It's funny, because I've liked most of the movies he's done. But he's never been the reason why.

I look at him, and shake my head when I remember that he's a millionaire several times over while displaying the acting chops of my neighbor's shih tzu.

glynparson 07-17-2014 02:00 PM

Nail hit squarely on the head

He does somehow pick movies that his terrible acting often does not ruin.

the 'stache 07-18-2014 02:11 AM

I just happened to turn on Cinemax. 3 am, and the aforementioned Devil's Advocate is on. Assuming you've seen the movie, it's the scene early on where Keanu has just returned to the apartment in NYC after the trial he helped select the jury for has ended. He's sitting there on the couch while Charlize is consoling him for what she assumes is a loss (ie guilty verdict). There's a few seconds where there's nothing going on, and I'm reminded once again how awful he is. I had to pick up the remote to make sure I hadn't accidentally hit pause or something. Nope, the movie was still playing. It just seemed like it had been paused because he's incapable of showing any emotion at all with his face.

I still love this movie though, because Pacino is absolutely evil, and Charlize Theron is absolutely hot. They are capable of carrying the movie.

ScottR81 07-18-2014 01:56 PM

Ben Affleck

Davino 09-17-2014 12:34 AM

Julia Roberts
Axl Rose

nolemmings 09-17-2014 11:07 AM

Singer: John Cougar Melonhead, Kid Rock (Bob Seger wannabe)
Band: KISS
Actor/Director/Producer/Writer/Comedian(?): Adam Sandler (PLEASE, just go away)

campyfan39 09-18-2014 08:13 PM

Singer: Bruno Mars
Actor: Obama

Section103 09-19-2014 09:03 AM

Julia Roberts. A thousand times over.

clydepepper 09-19-2014 12:55 PM

Singer - Justin Beiber, Axl Rose, and Roseanne Barr. Put 'em all on an island and let the eat each other.

Band- any band that gets in the way of someone trying to practice place-kicks.

Actor- Tom Cruise (just quit, okay?), Ben Stiller (never 'got' any of his work),
Pauly Shore (just to let the other two know how low they are)

and the most dangerously bad actor of all - Barry Soetoro (google him and you'll see that you probably agree)

In defense of Val Kilmer, he has seen better days, but his work as Doc Holliday in 'Tombstone' was amazing!!

Adam Sandler is terrible.
I might be in the minority but I don't enjoy Sofie Vergara (especially if the sound is on;)
Although I am sorry to have heard about his accident, Tracy Morgan is the least funny comedian in decades!

Miley Cyrus is terrible. She's not alone...
I dislike almost all "new " music besides the occasional indie music that I stumble upon. Kinda like baseball cards... 35-40 years old minimum!!
Even though he fits the time frame for music I Like, I skip all Eric Clapton songs..way overrated.

I know lots of people love them, but I can't stand any of them, all 3 have no depth or range, but still rake in millions every year(Adam Sandler is awful as well)

Actor = hands down Wil Ferrell

jthorst75 09-22-2014 12:52 PM

Nickleback, for the only reason that they suck and they should board a plane with Journey and Bon Jovi...what happens after that I won't mention. My wife loves Nickleback and I don't see how we are still together; she's lucky we have kids. There was a time when she bought 2 tickets for them in concert, 1 for her and 1 for me, I think she had fun as I stayed home.

Actor: Judge Reinhold (Beverly Hills Cop III) Followed closely by Sandler.

My least favorite actor is Paulie Shore
Singer would be Jason Aldean
Band is Led Zep (very very over rated)
Comedian .....Carrot Top or Sam Kinison

richieb315 11-16-2014 08:44 AM

The Kardashians If they fall under acting category.

Bob Lemke 11-17-2014 02:42 PM

Actor: Andie McDowell

. . . ever since I saw her do an interview about her Western Bad Girls (1994). She got on an anti-gun rant; said she couldn't wait until a scene was finished so she could throw her gun on the ground. No doubt so that she'd have both hands free to grab the money she was making.

Lordstan 11-24-2014 12:45 PM

Singer by far is Bob Dylan. The man can write songs, but should be allowed nowhere near a microphone.

obxhouses4rent 11-25-2014 02:23 PM

Jim, I never met anyone who didn't like Guns and Roses till just now.
Other than Van Halen, they were the only hard rock band in the entire 80's worth a damn. I remember hearing them for the first time thinking....FINALLY someone has saved hard rock!

pariah1107 11-26-2014 08:34 PM

Bono & John Cusack.

Q: Bono, you have met Pope John Paul, Mother Teresa, the Dalai Lama, and Nelson Mandela; who is the most humble person you have met?
A: Well I hate to brag but the mirror looks pretty good in the morning....

Q: John Cusack, are you willing to admit Layne Meyer in Better Off Dead was your greatest movie role?
A: No. Remaining anonymous in Sixteen Candles was probably my best movie role.
