I am extremely happy to pick up my first Carolina Brights for only $240 plus juice. Lowest priced CB of the bunch in this auction!!

Anyone else have some good scores?

Went quite a bit higher than I really wanted thanks to someone bidding me up yesterday afternoon, but I got this tuff little card for my set.

I woke up this morning at 5 AM and saw my bid had held up, so I felt good about the item I thought I had won.

Then, I got an outbid email at 5:38 AM when I checked my email again.

Insane! How late did this auction go?!

Hard to believe someone paid over 11K for a 1962 Topps Koufax??

For a 1.5 that image really pops! Very nice.

Picked up these 2 beauties. E101 and the Collins is an EPDG. Went for the Bridwell sepia PC but punked out. Even so it went for less than I might of thought. Reason?

Had some loose change laying around, so I thought I'd throw a bid in on it :D

Seriously - many of those T206 4, 4.5 and 5's were mine from the set I broke and sold largely in the June Auction. Congratulations to any that won, I think Phil got at least one of them! I kept upgrading that set and thought most of the cards were nicer for the grade. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I won two of the 1914 CJ's, the rest blew through my ceiling bid. Wow, they seem to be still growing in demand!

I thought I was going to win a couple of cards, including the blank back E92 Tinker, but prices just escalated. The price with the vig on the Tinker surprised me.....

Copped the e90-2 Wags. Filled a big hole for me.

I agree that one is extremely hard to believe for me too. That is his 8th year card. To the person who bought that I have a great deal here for you, I might be able to let this sweet beauty go for 10K if you are interested. Population of two right here. :cool:

Did it occur that the person who bought the Koufax may think they could get it bumped to a 10? Or 9.5?

Did you see the left to right centering?

9.5 does not exist (not with PSA or SGC anyway)

The centering and looks like a slight touch on the bottom left corner would stop that from a 10.

I picked up this RUTH in the Goodwin auction... My first RUTH and LECTIONS card.

I was so happy to have won this 1952 Topps Jake Pitler...it was my holy grail. After a short, bland career...Jake was a coach with the Dodgers at the time this card was printed. I didn't even know 52' topps had cards of coaches?!?! And to top it off...he was "jewish?!"

Who wants an early ruth card...or a rare caramel honus wagner...when I can have this gem!

I can now die happy knowing It only cost me around 6 large...food for a 1/2 a year...and should prove to be a sound investment in the future!:p

No, but bill has deposited my check. In my experience, it takes him about 1.5 to two weeks to get your winnings to you from the date of deposit.

Honus came home last Thursday. Great communication and service for my first time winning there. Will bid again fo sho.

I haven't even received a shipped notification yet, and I paid by cashier's check.

It would be nice to have some sort of status on the 'my accounts' page, similar to what most of the major auction houses do. Normally I wouldn't really care much, but I'm moving in a week and didn't think this would be an issue.

You should probably call Bill and tell him that you are moving, ask him to wait on shipping it if he hasn't shipped yet. Would be better to have the card sent to your new address.

It's a lot more than a card. If it isn't here in a couple of days I will call him. I didn't realize it was a one-man operation.

How do they ship? (Fedex, UPS, etc)

I know Bill has taken some flack for taking a while to pay, but I just received a check for my consignment today. I am very happy to have been paid quite quickly.
