This card I waited a long time for and finally got it in the spring of last year: Attachment 94822 This one I also waited a long time for, I just sent it in to SGC: Attachment 94823 Finally, this one I happened upon at an Arlington show and thought it was a great card for the price (my only 19th century so far): Attachment 94824 |
I always have a hard time choosing just one, but this is high on the list of favorites.

While my collection focuses primarily on two areas: HOF baseball & Clemente, I still think this is my favorite item in my collection ...

Nothing like getting your moneys worth using the same photo for the E121 and some Ice Cream issues of 1928, maybe even more. Not sure if it was the same photo used for his rookie card as a Red Sox

The 1914 Pratt is the best. I think the 1915 Cobb is my favorite, but I struggle with the 1915 Jackson NOT being my favorite, so I might call it a tie.
I also love the Cy Young E-93 batting. Why would they have a card of him batting? I don't know, but I like it! All + 300 more pre-war and 800 mid to late 50s are consigned to the August Love of the Game auction. Sorry for the extra cards. These are the scans I have. |
Shaun, those are some really nice Jackie Robinsons.
|
Thank you Jamie.I enjoy seeing those gems you post.Keep up the good work.

It's impossible to choose one. The Weintraub took soooo long to find, it just has to be accorded a special place of honor. The Ten Million is a emblematic of my current favorite set, the quirky and charming 1911 Obaks. Leaving out my Jackie Robinson rookies and my Babe Ruth card seems almost sacrilegious. And there are plenty of worthy t205 and t206 cards. But these two cards are deserving.
I sure have enjoyed seeing the great cards everyone else cherishes. Thank you for a great topic. |
Wow, insane cards guys

I would say my T206 Walter Johnson graded BVG 4:

Sweet looking Cobb!!! |
Thanks, my wife got it for me for Christmas. Finally, looks like there might be some spousal support after all.

Hahaha!!! |
Jason, great Cobb. Was your wife really able to pick out such a nice and important card on her own? If so I really am impressed. ;)
|
Jim B & Jim R. Awesome cards!
|
"this one has the Jeff B stamp on the back of a Nagy. I traded for this one and didn't realize the Burdick stamp was on the back until it was in my hands."
Further evidence that Burdick traded cards with some of the greats of the hobby. I have a theory that the signed Leifield I posted with Burdick stamp was traded to John Wagner, who sent it to Lefty to be signed. Neat card! |

Not mine. Doesn't matter, there are a billion of them out there.
But, I look at this card and I'm 10 again, opening up (retrospect junk) wax all weekend long. http://millercards.net/im_vb_large/vb114.jpg |
