Love the Speaker, Jeff.

Amazing photo, Brian. That's a winner for sure. Amazing composition on that shot.

Rhett, incredible to see all those in one shot.

Can't believe the quality in the first day of February. Looks like it's going to be a good month!!!

Pete- congrats! I bid on the card earlier but forgot all about it with all the other auctions going on. The blue background E94 Wagner is a toughie. You got a great buy even with the skinned back, they just don't come around very often.

since it appears that T206 printing errors are thru the roof right now...thought i'd branch out. IMO, there's no reason why T205 printing errors shouldn't be just as valuable.

After reading K.O's article on T206 Resource about the unreleased T206 Southern League Proof cards I was drawn to one in particular, the Danville Fleet Mayberry Pitching Pose.A quick search showed he had a T210-2,what luck.It took about 1 week for one to pop up on Ebay via Joe's Vintage.Im glad to add this card and wish the T206 made it into production.

I'm now at 200 T206 SGC40s. Thanks to Lee for the Crawford and Jason for the Phelps. I'm extremely excited to reach this milestone and couldn't have done it without help from all here on N54... my buyers, my traders and the BST sellers. While I don't have most of the "big dogs," I do have a BeanTown Mathewson Dark Cap, 16 other HOFs and 10 SL. With your help (and a whole lot of selling), I've managed to get these 200 cards for an average of (wait for it)... $6.45 per card.

Piratedogcardshows 02-04-2012 02:58 PM

Great job and congrats Erick.Im envious of that per card average.Thats amazing.

Also, good job Erick.

An amazing feat! I am sure you have put in a lot of work to pull those 200 off! Been great trading, buying and selling with you. You have been a class act all the way!

Best,

Raw pickup at a show...

I probably overpaid, but at $40, not bad...it is a Hassan back so that has to count for something...I also picked up a Larry Doby Perez Steele post card (PSA)...my 85th signed Perez Steele...it was a great piece that I got at a fraction of what I normally see signed Doby PSs going for. All in all, a good day...

Well, you could have had my PSA 4 cheaper - sold Sunday on ebay for $39. Reminds me - I might have a "St. Valentine's Day Massacre" Sale this month.

Hey Scott...this is true...though your note presupposes I'm intelligent, which I routinely confirm I am not. Hoping we can do some business in the near future...would love to add some more T205s to my collection...Matt :D

Erick, that's a beauty.

Another beautifully-registered T205 Matty arrived today. I was hoping it would be an upgrade, but not quite. Good trade bait, though :)

Oh, thats right, I did bid on the Brouthers and one other Detroit player, did not win either. The other was an upgrade, did not want to spend that much for upgrade.

Two new ones today. Got a steal on the 3rd different 1908 George E Wright Morgan Bulkeley PC. This one is un-used(another bonus). Also, after being significantly outbid on the 1903 Burr Mcintosh Iron Man McGinnity auction the other day, I managed to find another one really cheap(not really a card though)... It was a good day for deals..

Bill Carrigan - 1928 Type 1 Photo

He looks pretty serious, as he should - this photo was taken in June, 1928, dead-center in the middle of a 3-year managerial stretch in which he went 116-295, quite possibly the worst consecutive three years in MLB history.

Yep, you're infected, Iggyman. I've gotten into boxing PCs over the last few years, similar virus, same prognosis. Overall, though, it is a relatively benign disease, primarily afflicting only the wallet and on rare occasions the marital relationship.
