Posted By: <b>Josh K.</b><p>Im not sure how much to read into that auction - two e93 wagner psa 4's (one may have been an sgc 50) sold in the last week or two (one ebay and one in an auction) and both ended up right around 1700. I think this is a case of a couple bidders who just were going at it. I spoke with Mastro about a possible selling price. They asked me to send the set in so they could look at it but I have not done that yet - not sure if I will either. I guess the prices on these cards could still go up quite a bit.

I pass it on for what it is worth because I found the advice to be just as sound today as it was one year ago.<br />tbob

If I had a card which I am willing to sell, I am certain I could come up with another card that I like better and would be willing to take in trade for it instead of dirty ol' money that I will only end up trading for useless crap like food, shelter and fuel.

In fact, he bid over 1k for a '52 mantle that stated in the description "this card isnt graded and therefore per ebay's rules, it was being sold as a reprint. . ."

The secret is out about its scarcity, especially in nice shape. Wagners and Cobbs are a dime a dozen compared to Mack.

I'm sure there are hidden raw gems out there, but you'll see alot other nicer hof'ers before mack.
