We are still getting about 60-70 new members per month. Now if we can just get them to post we will have it made :). That being said if any member, old or new, would like to give a brief bio it would be great. I am not sure there is a better way to get to know folks. Also, we seem to really have some advanced dealers and collectors registering (you know who you are) and I hope they will join in and introduce themselves. I will make it easy with a short list of questions. Anyone can feel free to deviate from it if they would like to. Without further ado.....

Sorry to take a step away from the questionnaire
Ok, so a lot of people have responded so far to this, and it's extremely interesting seeing people from all different walks of life. My question is mainly how people became interested in prewar cards? I know for myself that my love for early 1900's baseball has always been much deeper than the game that is played professionally today (even though i luckily still have the opportunity to play pretty competitively). When i realized that there were baseball cards from before the 1950's i was hooked. Anyone else have an interesting story about how they started collecting?

I first went in 1992 and have been every year since. I was in line in Atlanta in 1992 and a man with a brief case was next to me. He had vintage cards and Our Home Team postcards that I had never seen before. I did not realize there were cards that old. I was at the show for 2 days and had a great time. I bought my first t card, a t202 Just before the Battle with Mathewson and Meyers. Now it is an obsession/passion that many of you understand, but not my wife or many of my friends.
