Not the greatest condition, but it was a cheap variation I didn't have. And look...when I put it in a sleeve with another one tassel pennant, they both look complete! :p

Nice one! I am such a fan of all the old New York teams so it’s great to see something like that.

We can add Birmingham Barons to teams with the sliding runner design, now believed to be made by Epstein (right?). I believe I heard that MLB is going to be playing a game or games at Rickwood field in the future.

Is that yours, Marc? It looks like one of your photo presentations. Gotta be pretty, pretty rare.

Yeah, I went to grad school in Alabama and watched a decent number of baseball games in Tuscaloosa and Birmingham (Hoover). I was there after the Michael Jordan days, which I heard were pretty crazy. Never saw a game at Rickwood. And the price was right on the pennant. I've never seen it or any other vintage Barons pennant before.

That’s really cool Marc. Cool color combination and cloth, too!

FWIW, I just watched a 30 for 30, Jordan Rides the Bus. I never liked MJ (admittedly, for what he did to my Jazz) but I liked him more after watching that little documentary. Terry Francona was his manager  and Tony said MJ could have made the Majors with another full year in the minors, under his belt.

Great pickups Mike and Jim. I love the Braves pennants from the 40s/50s.

Did anyone see the Satchel Paige that completed at Heritage last night?

Sold for $1,500 with juice. I hope someone hear got it.

I was fortunate to get this. Was very much on the fence but I thought it was especially cool given the green felt and the Jackie pennant I already have in green. Now gotta find a Doby and the incredibly rare Luke Easter.

(BTW, Heritage ships pennants as if they are shipping a Picasso … it took about 15 minutes just to open! Tip of the cap to them.)

That Paige pennant is great! Nice pickup.

Congrats Greg. Great pickup. It looks great next to Jackie. The 2 Monarchs teammates back together again.

Thanks, guys. I’d love to know if WGN made any others besides these two and Doby and Easter.
