We'll get back to pennants, but here's Prescott Sullivan's "by-line pic" from a 1962 SF Examiner. He's sporting the Porky Pennant Hat ($1.50 in the 1962 merchandise list).

New to the thread, was really cool to see this picture. Acquired this pennant and was curious to its origin dates. 1944 looks pretty spot on considering this photo.

Do you guys think these could be by the same maker? Both are slightly under "full size." There's writing in the lower left of the Sox pennant but JR can't make it out. He said it has some name and a patent number. A patent number? Weird.

P.S. The Giants does also come in blue.

P.P.S. If anyone here gets the Sox pennant, we need to decipher the writing in the lower left.

That Giants batter always messes me up with the hands in the wrong position for a righty. Or maybe he is looking back at the umpire to protest a call.

This one is rather rare. This is only the second example I’ve ever encountered. I purchased it and will donate the duplicate to the Clemente Museum.
