I saw your listing and my initial thought is your asking price is kind of high. The pennants and pins are not uncommon. Having said that, people sometimes do like to buy complete(?) sets and most of the pins look to be in excellent condition. I hope others weigh in because I am no expert on those little pennants. Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback. Agree my asking was high by design, because if I don’t know then I just price conservatively and consider much lower offers. About to accept exactly half what I was asking for. Seems close enough and I’d rather use the funds for vintage baseball cards.

New arrivals today.
I'm wondering if anyone has any info about the 1941 Dodgers pennant. I've not seen another one before but I bet you guys have. |

This photo shows it, purportedly taken in 1949. Perhaps they meant 1941? Never seen either version, until now.... Is it me or did this fan safety pin the pennant to his sweater? |
Thanks Kyle. That's a great photo. I love seeing pennants in old photos.
Yep, I think he has the pennant pinned to his sweater. I'm guessing he pulled it off his bedroom wall and reused the 1941 pennant in 1949. If you look closely at the hat of the guys next to him, you'll see 2 Jackie Robinson photos pinned to the hat. So the photo is very likely from 1949. |
Damn, Gary, you find some treasures. I can’t remember the last pennant I’ve found….granted, I only collect one team…..and you just came up with five beauties.

That 1960 Pirates is not a rare pennant, but is super-rare in that condition. Tough one to find in decent shape, and yours is stellar. And the 1941 Bums Pennant is fantastic.... first example that I've seen. Congrats on another great haul! |
The guy in the UK is kicking our asses!
