My latest from LOTG Auction, a sweet looking 1926 Cardinals RPPC!

Nice Jeff, matches the earliest card appearance for Chick Hafey too.

I love the strong image on this trimmed RP PC of WaJo that I picked up at the recent Chantilly Show (thanks again Mike). This pose of WaJo holding a bat (WaJo was a very good hitting pitcher) is very similar to his pose on his E253 Oxford Confectionary card - I wonder if both photos were taken at the same time.

Here's one that will be in the Fall 2014 B & L Auction, real photo attached to the postcard.

Jeff, thats a sweet PC! Up until I saw that one, my fav Team PC was the Cardinals Block Bros but I think yours surpassed it!

What is on the other side of this postcard...this is very similar to a 1939 Postal First Day Cover.

It is similar indeed, the other side is blank, but the stock is very thick like a postcard. I will have it at the National for examination. It may well be an envelope cut down, but it certainly does not appear to be. It is of the same design as the multitude of FDCs or more aptly commemorative covers.

Looks interesting...it does indeed appear to be made of cardboard and not paper like an envelope would be.
