Couldn't find any room for my AdFlag burgee, so he had to go into the garage. I had to slant it to miss the opener track but I kind of like the slanted look. This guy spent a couple of weeks buried in snow to get the folds out. Funny story about the Spring Training Welcome San Francisco Giants banner...I paid 10 bucks for it and only $5 for shipping. I think the poor seller had to spend $20+ on shipping. It's massive - 3' x 12' and made of heavy vinyl.

Rob,

No doubt about it. Time to buy another house. Nice touch on the burgee (I'm picking up the lingo.).

That stadium in Scottsdale is a thing of beauty.

I don't believe one exists, Greg. You're correct: the 1953-dated felt NL/AL champs banners are your closest option.

The pickins are similarly scarce for 1952, I've noticed. There was a 1952-dated Brooklyn Dodgers WS champs (phantom) pennant made ... but was there an NL champs variant made for the bums in '52??

I think by 1953 the pennant makers and vendors were sick and tired of dated, unsold Dodgers vs. Yankees stock from prior years that they couldn't move. So they got smart and began omitting the years ... which would have served them well in '55 and '56 (and '63, '77, '78, and '81).

Co-signed. Super-rare pennant. I don’t think I’ve seen it before. Looks like Ad Flag but they have another 1959 White Sox version. Maybe WGN?

I have that one as being by WGN; but, definitely could be by ADFLAG.

Here are ‘52s, with and without ‘World’. But I don’t know of a NL Champs version.

Upon closer inspection, almost certainly Ad Flag. The rear stitching tells the story.

But wait there’s more! The design around the winged sock resembles a known WGN … so basically I have no idea.

speaking of the rear  , just noticed the patch. How come there’s no stitching on the front? Would have been a candidate for “felting.”

My “gut” also told me WGN….but I, also, have no idea.

Ah yes I see that now. Missed it before.

Here are two other ‘59 Sox pennants with the same White Sox font. I would think Ad Flag purely for how ugly the baseball head batter is, but this is looking more and more like WGN.
