Oh of course.... duh. I forgot about the oldies from the teens. Great stuff!

Before I realized the pennant was for the Milwaukee Braves, I actually though it was older (e.g. 1920s).

Kyle, you're explanation about the Braves fever of 1952 seems plausible to me. I wonder if they used old stock to make the pennants or if they still used that design for other pennants in the 1950s. I'd love to come across a product catalog from Eder from the 1950s.

Does anyone know of any pennants from any maker recognizing the 1953 World Series, or dated 1953 from either team? The only one that comes up in a google search is the rectangular Dodgers pennant similar to the ‘54 Indians that you see more frequently.

I don't think they made one that was sold inside the stadiums. If one was ever manufactured (of the true triangular variety), it was probably made/sold by a small street vendor.

I’d say about $125 in the current condition. If it was EX or better, it might go as high as $175-$200. But the general wear and flawed spine will keep it in the $100 - $125 range. It’s a fairly scarce variation, and a nice pennant!

Co-signed. Super-rare pennant. I don’t think I’ve seen it before. Looks like Ad Flag but they have another 1959 White Sox version. Maybe WGN?

I think I've found a new manufacturer of pennants in the 40s-50s. Eder Mfg Co.

They're still in business today...the largest manufacturer of flags and flagpoles in the USA. But they started out making pillows, felt pennants and rag dolls.

I wonder what other pennants they might have produced.

This is a very tough to find pennant. I have had it before, but only in dark blue with a red spine. One of the earliest Milwaukee pennants. Never seen a green one.

Thank you both, I had a hard time finding any info on it.

It's for sale/trade if anyone is interested. I'm a Cubs fan..so this item is not my collection focus ;)
