My card says “playe” and yours says “player”. :rolleyes:

Cool...took me a while and I never saw it. I checked mine..."playe", so I am guessing the "player" is the rarer one?

Interestingly, the modern 1953 Topps Archives #35 also shows “playe”. I’m sort of suspicious that the above card showing “player” is a PhotoShop creation (i.e., every card #35 I look at lacks the “r”). If there was a correction, then the Archives version wouldn’t have the error.

I agree 100% w/ Bob--Here's my example, also missing the "r".

I don't believe I've ever seen a #35 w/ it, but have never seen it listed as an UER either.

My Noren is also missing the 'r'. I'm waiting to hear what Al has to say about it.

Am not aware of a corrected Noren and my 91 reprint does have the error. Bob's baseball card logic is always Spock like. Larry---is the scan you posted your card ? If so, amazing gem

Thank you Al, it is my own copy, certainly shows better than a 5.
