I put mine in cardsavers, take a sheet of card stock and cut out a hole the size of the card saver, and then glue some corners down to keep it in place. Slip the whole thing in one of those full-page protective plastic sheets. You can store them in the binder, keeps the card protected, and you can see both sides.

That T201 Speaker is on my WTB list. Im slowly working my way thru my Speaker checklist. Your display idea is original and effective! Nice innovation.

Three variations of Lefty's 1933 Worch Cigar card. Notice the different cropping between the left and middle cards. Today is Lefty's birthday!

This has been ID'd by some Negro League historians as Mackey on the left and possibly from the California League in the 1920s. Others vehemently deny it is Mackey. Whatever, I like it.

I've shown this before, but I love it, so I'll show it again.

In 1909 the University of Wisconsin sent their baseball team to Japan to play against Keio, Waseda, and other University teams. (There was no pro ball in Japan at the time.) Postcards were made to commemorate the occasion. This particular card shows the beginning of the first game of the tour. What's special about it is that it was mailed by Charles "Peck" Nash, who pitched most of the tour for Wisconsin. He's asking one of his friends back home to take notes in class for him, because they're not going to get back from Japan until after the semester starts.

Thank you for sharing! As a Badger alum this one hits close to home :)

On Wisconsin! (even though they don't have a baseball team any longer)

The "problem" with this thread is that you only get one a day and sometimes other people's posts prompt several different cards you want to share. However, since Plow Boy is outnumbering Plow's Candy two-to-one, I thought I would even things out today and save the other cards for another day.

He was part of Boston's "million dollar outfield" and was so admired for his defense playing in front of the Green Monster, that the incline leading up to the wall in left field became known as "Duffy's Cliff". But here he is shown playing for the Washington Senators. He got 114 plate appearances for Washington in 1921.
