Post your Frank Schulte card. There have been duplicate posts of certain players. By the way, that is a great B/W photo of Frank. And, it certainly looks like it was the picture American Lithographic used to create Frank's T205 card. TED Z T206 Reference . |

I don't know much about T205s but does Red Cross back the toughest back in T205 follow by Drum? I kind of remember there were only less than 10 Red Cross backs known to exist.
|
Quote:
T205's were not printed with RED CROSS backs. DRUM, HINDU, and PIEDMONT Factory 42 are quite rare on T205 cards. IMO, HINDU is the toughest. T207 cards can be found with RED CROSS backs, but they are very rare. T215 cards are all RED CROSS backs. TED Z T206 Reference . |

Tony Smith is next.....
OK, before some of you "get bent out of shape", I have posted a hint of Tony Smith adjacent to this John Titus card. I love these
mis-cut T205 cards, for they tell us a story. https://photos.imageevent.com/tedzan...usSmith50x.jpg . . . .https://photos.imageevent.com/tedzan...ysmithT205.jpg TED Z T206 Reference . |

Any time you can post a Type 1 photograph that was used to create the T205 card, I say go for it even if it is a triple post!

Always like seeing the Paul Thompson photos!
Also, Ted's Titus+Smith miscut is a favorite of mine. Here's Speaker, Hassan 649, miscut with Jack Barry below. |

Just need Stone, Street and Summers to finish off the letter S. And according to my Doctor Seuss dictionary, the letter T should be the one to follow.

James Vaughn
I'm jumping over Turner to post my James Vaughn, because I'll be away the most
of the day. I think you will find my bit of trivia regarding Vaughn quite interesting. A T205 tough short-print from my Yankees collection. James Vaughn participated in a "double no-hitter" on May 2, 1917 at Wrigley Field. This event is the only instance in Major League history where both pitchers pitched No Hitters for 9 innings. Vaughn dueled with Fred Toney of the Cincinnati Reds. In the top of the 10th, the Reds got two hits off Vaughn to win the game. Jim Thorpe drove in the winning run.
