No man cave or baseball den is gonna be complete without some barstools made out of these bats I've got over on BST:D
|
There are some awesome, awesome rooms here. Congrats to everyone.
I wish I had a man cave to display my stuff, but for now, most of my goodies are put away. I don't have a lot of vintage pieces, but it's something I have always wanted to add to my Yankees collection. I find vintage Yankees to be real expensive. Good thing I'm also a Jets and Knicks fan as they're stuff is pretty affordable. Maybe some day, I will have a cave and I can display it here. Mike |
Very neat idea if your handy would buy the finished products for sure. If they were available.

Whoa those are cool! Would fit perfectly in my bar! |
Just a corner of my way-too-small display room, but the snowstorm gave me a chance to organize my bat rack & accompanying photos (mostly type 1's). Unfortunately the bats on the rack do not have any direct correlation to the players in the photos...

This is my "memorabilia room" along with most of the garage. It's a much more solitary affair than some of the more-inviting man caves that others have shown, and if the "stuff" flows out into the rest of the house, I start hearing complaints and threats from the wife (which, now that I look at the photos, is understandable :o ) Believe it or not though, there is some order to this chaos :D
|
Lance,
That's awesome! Organized confusion- I love it! :D |
Hey Lance, Glad to see i'm not the only one who hoards cardboard boxes for future shipments... :)
|
Sweet! But no Lance:confused:

Some of what you guys have accomplished is just fantastic...I'm in awe. Here's a few of my humble little cave. I wanna be you guys when I grow up!

Big J and everyone else...it's about loving your space and your stuff. This isn't a competition. Don't try to be happier than happy:D All of you have done cool things and you should celebrate that.
Cheers, Mike |
Awesome Oakland A's stuff...my cousin is in their minor league system. So now I am an Oakland fan.

The only problem with that is 'Redskins', but it is so cool I can overlook it. That bar looks soooooo much like a friend of a friend's man-room in Virginia, but his room was Pittsburgh-themed. It was mouth-watering to be a man visiting a real man-room like that - no way a woman could possibly understand...except mine, who approved the NFC championship game tickets and 'made' me buy the best seats possible. I just finished my 'Dallas Cowboys' wall. Not enough light to get a decent pic. Tom Landry and Redskins |

I grew up with the Big Red Machine. Mike

I like the way you display the jerseys. You don't see that very often.

I got the torso mannequins on Ebay. Seller ID is displayfashion. Very reasonably priced. Here is the link. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Male-Mannequ...item19de879ec8 Mike

Nice Big Red Machine collection.

I love the case you have for the Pete Rose Jersey. Did you design it or where can I buy them.
thanks, Shale |
The case came from Lin Terry. That is also where I received the bat cases. Mike http://www.linterry.com/catalog_c39271.html

BEAUTIFUL room, George. Having all of the 19th century stuff really adds a special character to the place. Very tasteful. Bravo!

I enjoy collecting things that I can display so this one is a great fit....my segway into lithographs was the Harper's woodcuts and then I went from there. |

I'm pretty sure I haven't posted in this thread....I think I only put up a few pics in another thread, when I joined a couple of weeks ago. Forgive me if some of these pics are redundant and show the same thing. One good thing about this room is that it's in a windowless, basement room....no light, very little dust.
