R423

My royal flush of R423 Jackies in all 4 colors (and numbers). Took three subs with SGC get all the colors on the labels. PSA has since updated the name and year to the more correct 1952 Oak R423 (as the photo was taken by Berk Ross and Oak Sales was the strip card manufacturer). Universal pop all grades and colors about 12. The "1" will remain as a part of my Jackie run of all SGC 1s, but the others may go at some point.

Did Robinson have1951 cards?

he did not have a topps rb/bb, bowman, or berk ross card in 1951 and its quite a shame.

Jackie's last career hit. A game winner! Wire photo and press pass.

In a 10-inning scoreless pitching duel with both starters going all the way, Jackie Robinson's walk-off single to left in the bottom of the 10th won the game for Clem Labine and kept the Dodgers' championship hopes alive. Tough-luck loser Bob Turley gave up a 10th-inning walk to Jim Gilliam, a sacrifice bunt by Pee Wee Reese and intentional pass to Duke Snider before the decisive hit by Jackie Robinson. It was Jackie's final hit in his career. Game 6 is one of only three games in World Series history to be scoreless through nine innings, the others being Game 2 in 1913 and Game 7 in 1991.

Haven't seen one of these posted yet. Beautiful, tough card with an interesting backstory: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBDvF_dD5BU
