Now that we have reached and gone over the magic 250 number what happens. This will remain open till the 300 number is reached? What happens if it falls short.

Since Bill is out of pocket until this afternoon, I'll jump in on this one. Now that we have reached the magic 250, the raffle is a definite go. Any entries beyond 250 go towards increasing the painting size beyond the base 16x20 size that was set for the minimum 250 entries.

I'll get with Bill this evening to add upsize possibilities for the entries beyond 250, but the basic idea is that each entry adds approximately 1.25 square inches of canvas (based on Graig's current rates).

Edited to add: I just realized that never actually addressed your original question: since we hit the 250 mark, there is no "falling short" from this point on. It's just a question of how much larger the winner's painting will be. We could very well go beyond 300 total entries sold.

And remember, the larger the canvas, the greater the possibilities as to content.

I am finally back, long day.

It was pointed out to me I made a mistake in giving a member one enty, when he asked for 2.
Thank goodness it was one of the most recent entries.
According to the rules, the original poster, who was JB217676. I game him entry 234, and he should have gotten 234 and 235, which are his, and I will move the 4 entries behind him, down one spot.
IThat means, Wite will be moved from 235 to 236, catspajamas will be moved from 236 to 237, and Hot Springs Bathers two entries of 237 and 238, will be moved to 238 and 239.
That is according to the rules so my apologies goes out to all the above for my error, but right is right.
The other more recent entries were never posted as yet and will be in there proper spots.

While I was out, to come back to what is now, a good raffle.

WE WILL THEN FIND OUT HOW MANY ENTRIES THERE ARE AT THAT TIME, AND WE CAN THEN FIGURE OUT YOUR ADDITIONAL NUMBERS.

It is easy to figure out, if we get, an additional 40 entries, then 290 is our number. #1 will get 291, and 581. #2 would get 292 and 582, ETC...

Just think, if you do not like the number you may be getting, JUST BUY ANOTHER ENTRY.....lol. THIS COULD GET INTERESTING.

On the entry list, past 250 entries, I posted what size painting could be attained with x amount of entries.

This was created by Lance, THANK YOU LANCE, who is an important cog in the running of the raffle. Most of how this is run, was fine tuned Lance.

I would hate to even think of how this would be run without all his past help.

i MADE A GLARING ERROR WHICH AFFECTS ENTRIES 254 - 273.

Leon posted a request for an entry, and I placed his request in order on this thread, see post #206. his request followed MPG, and just ahead of Iron Horse.
I do not how I made the error, but I know I was very busy at that time, but no excuse, so my apologies to all involved.
By the rules, Leon gets his sequential number, in order as posted. His entry number is 254. All numbers 254 and above, will be moved up one number.
IronHorse had 254 - 255 .........now gets 255 - 256
Shernan30 had 256 - 257........now gets 257 - 258
Majestic had 258 - 262........now gets 259 - 263
