Yeah, I just picked up the top one a few months ago from Erik (thanks Erik). The funny thing about the top one is that the tassels are closer to the middle, almost making it seem like a Mitchell and Ness pennant, but it is clearly vintage.

I am the high bidder right now on the ebay one, but my bid isn't all that high in case anyone wants to go and get it. But I'd buy it for $23 any day.

Does anyone know what the little "WC" initials stand for on the orange version?

WinCraft?
Artist's initials?
WC Fields?

If this has already been discussed... Nevermind!

Also in the bottom pennant, the bridge does not fully extend to the edges of the baseball ..

Your tassels aren’t cut on the diagonal. Maybe my “spine person” just had a wild hair that day. :p

I believe it was super sleuth Kyle who tracked it down to West Coast Novelty (or maybe WC Concessionaires?). I think they may still be in business. I can’t remember if he posted his findings here or in his blog.

"WC" = West Coast Novelty. It's one of a half dozen different concessionaire's marks seen on pennants manufactured by Trench.

West Coast Novelty ran concessions at several venues in the San Francisco Bay area. You'll find their mark on Trench-made pennants produced for the San Francisco Giants and nearby University of California made throughout the early 1960s.

They're still in business, too! Today, they're involved in the related field of sports licensing. See: https://www.thewcngroup.com/

Hey guys,

Any help or thoughts about the things I posted in post #4803?
Hoping to know a little about them before I just toss them.
Thank you!

I can’t see the pictures for that post - anybody else have the same issue?
