I had a diversion--bought a new Orioles collection, the T205s, and bought a bunch of 1955 and 1956 for those set projects. I'm focused on T206 again--would like to finish this year. 520 in 2020 is my new motto. :) thanks

I’m up to 18 HOF cards as I’m working on that subset.

I'll join the fray....on my 3rd attempt at conquering the Monster, my number is up to 377.

I do! Was there on Saturday and picked up a few E90-1s! We’ll have to make sure to meet you at the next show there!!

Sounds good I was at work Saturday. I made it Sunday picked up a Psa 4 T206 Flick. Def must say high next time.

I made it to 518 before "The Great College Sell-Off" began.

I had everything SGC graded (low grade) except the Demmitt and O'Hara (and the Big Four).

It was a fun ride, but I'm also enjoying watching her college fund (slowly) grow.

And you can always do it again later after college if you want. :)

My first post. I started the T206 trek last November. I'm up to 160 right now.

I went to the Philly show today and picked up a couple T206 cards. My Monster Number is now up to 103.

With McQuillan, ball in hand, I've made it to 400.

My progress is slowing. I feel like I have all the easy and inexpensive cards. I'll keep on it like Johnny Cash...

Please update me to 512. REA got me the last two SL players I needed. Only eight to go...

I have followed this thread for years, but have never posted to it, mostly because I never thought I would pursue a set. Well, as luck would have it, I now have a 524-card complete set, which means my Monster Number is 1000. And, since I purchased my Wagner and Doyle from Powell, I suppose his number should be updated as well - I am almost positive he has all the others.

Started the monster quest in November and just hit my year goal of 300. Guess I'll have to make a new goal.

I'm taking the opposite approach of Michael above. I've been collecting T206's for 30 years now and my first set's Monster Number is now at 89 with the addition of a Jennings two hands with Polar Bear back from Leon.


I guess I can claim a second set based on my dupes which would be at MN=3.

Hmmm. Not much activity in this thread. Not many MN list updates. Even the monumental deal that saw a different collector take over the coveted 1,000 point #1 top spot hasn't been recorded here.

I sincerely hope Frank is OK.

As for my personal Monster Number, it's up to 110. I picked up two more HOFers, continuing my recent trend of quality over quantity.

Up to 111 with a recent BST purchase. I especially like the extremely off-centered back.

Nearly 4 months since the last update.

There may be duplicate member updates on the list.

Finding your prior entry is more difficult as the list gets longer.

I try to update your prior line and then sort to order the list before posting.

If you find yourself on the list twice, shoot me a PM.

I did sell 121 cards of my set to purchase a new car, my card car. i didn't want to crack my nest egg.:eek:
