Because eBay allows this now - can make offers even when seller doesn’t have the Make Offer option - it “forces” you to play along. Personally, I like the auctions, they are exciting. But now there’s no guarantee that it goes the distance, if other offers are being made. (Actually even before you could make offers, and there were only auctions, items I’d be following would sometimes vanish and then pop up in live auctions a couple months later .... one auction house in particular that isn’t too far from me.) |
