Pete, nice OJ. Is it the scan or is that card black & white instead of sepia? If b&w, I've never seen one before.
Also interesting is that Greenwood is a lefthanded second baseman.

first pick-up thread post

I picked up the two S&S cards from friendly and helpful board member Andy Garden. Thanks, Andy. And I won the Hubbell postcard off of Ebay. Sorry for the super large scans, I'm still try to figure out how to resize.

Boston Store Cicotte

I was very happy when this little baby came back from SGC. Only one graded a touch higher at a 70 ( but I am not worried about showing off that one yet :-D)

Almost through with this set, just a handful to go. Thanks Joe C. for these 3 which had proven tough to find.

mostly working on Double Plays this year, but picked these up off this board on an impulse buy...a little photoshop work and a 4 x 6 two piece and I'm really happy.

especially when you consider the cost of buying a couple of cards of these guys of comparable age.

joeadcock 03-26-2011 06:45 PM

Beautiful Speaker and cool Boston Store

Another hall of famer for my collection...

Howe’s Hunter 03-29-2011 11:59 AM

#173 just arrived

along with a very nice note from Frank. Indeed, this is the card that was part of a larger eBay auction back in October of 2009, so that is one more off the "Where did it go?" list.

<a href="http://s150.photobucket.com/albums/s81/T206ster/?action=view&amp;current=173Elberfeld.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s81/T206ster/173Elberfeld.jpg" border="0" alt="173 Elberfeld"></a>

Thanks, Frank.

Nice card Ed !! Another cool thing about that card is that it seems to have an Old Mill wet sheet transfer on the front !!! Very nice- congrats.

Sincerely, Clayton

I had seen this one kicking around. a SLIGHT trim keeps it out of the Ex mt to nr mt range. I said, I can have one in lousy shape, thats a 1 or 2, or this one, that fit my budget. Card looks even better in person.
