Ted Williams painted glove by my good friend Gregg Packer. I did the design and told him exactly what i wanted and he came through as usual.

Babe Ruth Mosaic

This is made up of hundreds of Topps micro-cards 1991-1993. If you are standing right in front of it, it looks like a sheet of uncut cards. When you get farther away it looks like this...

It displays best if you have a long line of sight before you get to the mosaic. Like at the end of a hallway or large room. When someone looks up it is obvious who it is but as they get closer it disappears. |

Wade Boggs Cut Card Mosaic Art
1 Attachment(s)
I received this amazing piece in the mail yesterday. I could not be more happy with how great it turned out. It is 11X17 inches and cost me a grand total of $106.50 delivered to my house. The whole process was very easy and the artist was a pleasure to deal with.
I chose this design for a couple reasons. First is Wade Boggs is my favorite player. Second, is the coolest cut card art I had seen was Tim Carroll(sp?) did the 2013 SSP 1989 All Star Derek Jeter card. My only regret is I have enough Wade Boggs cards I could have easily had mine made using only Wade Boggs cards. The artist is a member and here is a link to his post in the BST section.https://www.net54baseball.com/showth...10#post2158910 |

Great art everyone! Baseball art is an aspect of the hobby that I really enjoy.
Below is my Graig Kreindler masterpiece of Fred Clarke c.1902 (sorry for the two year old, bad lighting, cell phone pic). This is my favorite piece in my collection. In a freak moment of insanity I consigned my Kreindler Ty Cobb paining (Net54 ID image) to REA earlier this year, and I regretted it almost from the day I shipped it. If you happen to be the new owner and care to send me a PM I'd love to know where it ended up. Attachment 485589 |
Can't help with the Cobb or its whereabouts.
But I must say that's a gorgeous image of Clarke and very impressive framing job. Really love the way that one displays. Beautiful painting! |

Maybe it's a stretch to call this art, but I love the work somebody did to these cards...

This was a card I illustrated last year for the Louisville Bats when they honored hometown Negro League star Felton Snow. It was only given out at that one game.
Attachment 595773 I wrote a blog post about the illustration here if anyone's interested: https://studiogaryc.com/2022/08/31/f...ystery-solved/ |

Painting from talented Ben Teeter, who also painted 2005 Diamond Stars. When I saw Ben in September, he was painting a commission for the KC Chiefs. Ben does commissions at fairly reasonable prices.

Here's a painting I did in high school art class, back in 1976. It was my third attempt at acrylic painting, kind of a composite of the Topps '55 and '56 Willie Mays cards.

This piece would seem qualify as folk art. I've always imagined that somebody sat around a stove at night all winter stitching all these silks together. There's a ridiculous number of Giants pictured here — I could almost reassemble the famous Giants team photo that spawned so many T206s — but somehow, there's no Matty or McGraw. I love all the color variations — every time I look on eBay, most that are available are white.

Not the greatest picture. Here are 8 of the 9 cut card pieces I have.
