With 9% of the set completed my MN is 47. Finished my Baltimore subset at the Philly show this weekend with a Doc Atkins pickup. Reaching small goals within the monster, keeps the fire burning. I'm on a 10 year plan, very similar to my undergraduate college days and just as enjoyable!

It has been a while since I updated my checklist, but I am off work following my appendix removal, so what better thing to do than figure out just what cards I have? My Monster number is now 182, but the cool thing I found out is that these are the only backs I am missing: Old Mill brown, Lenox brown, Broad Leaf 460, Drum, Blank, Sovereign 460, Sweet Caporal 150 factory 649 overprint, and the debated Ty Cobb. Not too shabby! :)


My goal has always been all the backs other than the Ty Cobb, Old Mill brown, Lenox brown, and BL460, so I am almost there! (only ruling those out as out of my league/price range, so if you want to sell me one out of pity, I would be happy to oblige). :)

I slowed down quite a bit trying to figure out how I want to collect the monster. Still trying to figure that out:confused: I'm sure I have close to 50 doubles. I find it hard not to make a purchase of some of my favorites with a more scarce back. Also can't figure out if I want PSA graded or raw. I will figure it out along the way. Just want to keep a good steady pace. For me it's not a race,want to enjoy the hunt!
