When I don't win anything in REA, these two cards will make me feel much, much better.

Wow! Your scanner makes the card really pop! I miss the card but I'm glad it's in your collection Matt.

Not the biggest pickup in the world but it is a card I've been looking for for a while. In the 1916 Zeenut set they made a mistake on 3 cards where two had the date mistakenly listed as "1915" instead of 1916, but on Frank Larsen's card they just completely forgot the last digit altogether so his card is simply dated "191"...

Picked up this card at the Strongsville show on Saturday. I am 16 and have a pretty low budget, but I thought that this card showed pretty well. I now have 13 T206's!! I am aiming to get all of the Pirates' T206's - minus the Wagner of course!

In addition, even though this is not pre-war, today, I got probably the coolest thing ever. I got home from school and found a letter with the Broncos' address. I ripped it open and found....

Bicem 04-23-2015 09:47 PM

Cool auto!

Red Cobb

What should come next? Seriously, though, I am so excited to get all three in one month.

edjs 04-23-2015 10:08 PM

Rhett, I didn't know that about the 1916s, thanks for the info. Conner, that is really sweet!

A 3-Cobb month is sweet in any sense. Especially those 3. Nice!

Neat cabinet with a reference to the "Brotherhood of 1890" which refers to the one year Player's League.

Leon- Why do my scans always end up small when I post on the forum? When attached to emails they are large.

LKeeler 04-24-2015 07:49 AM

Great additions, Conner! Love the Manning auto. How special!

Our s/w automatically downsizes scans when our s/w is used to host them. If you want them bigger you probably need to host them somewhere else. Or you can always shoot me an email and I will help with anything board related ie...you want a bigger picture, just ask. I can always host them on my website and show them here.....I do it with all of the things I post which need to be read. Those would be almost unreadable if I were to use the board s/w to host them as they would be too small.

ullmandds 04-24-2015 08:42 AM

Very cool Gary!

GaryPassamonte 04-24-2015 09:11 AM

Thanks, Leon. I still am a dinosaur with some of this stuff.

Thanks, Pete.

Picked this Teixeira, I mean Lake, up from a board member (thanks Bill). I love the extra dark T206, it goes well with my Manning (old pick up), and is my first Sovereign.

Couple of new additions. Always loved the Hornsby image. The Pennock is a bit rough but a fairly tough card.

I recognize that Pennock...he's been around the block a few times...

Really excited about this one. The card and sig are both super clean... a true SF classic. Sold some stuff on BST (thanks buyers) to raise the funds for my biggest pick up in a while.

Thanks Tom/Derek/Eric. I don't think there are too too many more, but have seen at least 2 other signed DiMaggio batting, then a couple throwing. Would guess there's a few more beyond that. I'll say this with near certainty though, this puppy won't be back on the market anytime soon.

Thats one is really nice, like 10x's better than the one you got from me. Well Done Ian!

Haha, I love that one too Chris, and based on the fact I was able to offload as much as I was on BST, plan to keep him too. Thanks again for a great transaction.. and as importantly the spotting and card loving banter back and forth.
