That Lajoie version is first T206 I ever got, dad bought it for me for a buck about 1975 or so in Miami, Florida flea market(at drive in theatre). Still remember walking with my dad and seeing it along with a bunch of other prewar cards back then. To go back, would be nice.

Hope no mind on putting this here on the card side. Scorecard for A's vs Braves, 1914, with Ty Cobb in his great batting stance. Won at Hyee Auction.

If you could go back? it wouldn't have to be that far in the past, in 1980-85 you could find t206s in poor -vg commons for that low and stars like Cobb for
$20 to $75 range in fact 52 Mantles vg, -ex droped under $1000 thanks to the
old price guide CPU.

THANKS to the Net54 get together at The National, the Beckett grading coupon I got there, and Leon for making it all possible. Technically, I could claim a few of these are "best copy graded" (if I qualify it "within BVG"). :D

Just received this 1928 Harrington's Ice Cream Gehrig, to go along with the Yuengling's card I picked up over the summer.

I picked up this beater T210 for the mark on the reverse.It looked like a printers mark from the sheets right border perhaps.Under magnification it appears to be a factory mark and not hand made.Any other suggestions to tell for sure?

Oh man I need to focus on cards like that and get off my duff and sell some cards that no longer have that "it" factor for me!
Awhile back I decided to chase HOFers instead of sets and types that I once liked gathering. Didn't work, I started 3 new sets anyway...even bought some type cards:p The addiction is in full swing I guess.

Anyway, these threads are always my favorites, keep 'em coming!
Its like a monthly museum trip.
One of these months a new Gehrig will show up on these threads under my name...
