Psa
Yes, I did get a couple of surprising 10's from PSA in these batches. Weird that cards that look like 7's and 8's to me get 5's and 6's and then a couple of cards get 9's and 10's! They are seeing something different than I'm seeing!

Express Order Really?
Wanted to give an update on my 62 card * $150 per card EXPRESS order.
Website: Express service is a 14 day estimated turnaround. 14 days, not weekdays, not mondays, DAYS! Arrived on August 19th Entered on August 20th Made it QA Check1 on September 8th Made it to QA Check2 within the last hour! Today is Day 30! That is pretty close to 14 days. Double +++. My hopes are I will have those Carolina Brights Grades for all of you before they go to auction! thanks, Jeff W |

Just had grades pop for a July $18 monthly special (1996-present) pop!
Arrived at PSA: 07/29/22 Checked In: 08/11/22 I'm happy enough with 7 PSA 10's, 12 PSA 9's, and 5 PSA 8's out of the 24 card sub. A pre-1995 monthly special mailed the same day is in grading. My $30 value special mailed 07/07/22 has been in QA2 for a couple weeks...found out why yesterday. They damaged one of my cards and are crediting me for it. Now that that's resolved, hoping they pop any day. |
Not in order
That last post tells me that PSA has no order to which they are grading orders. Blindly taking in orders and doing them at best!

More order chaos
(3) PSA orders all shipped in the same package
All arrived on August 22nd 3 cards at Economy level entered on the 30th in grading 2 cards at the express level entered on the 29th in research 1 card at regular service entered on the 29th in grading A guess paying more for higher $$ cards and quicker speed is irrelevant! Jeff Weisenberg |
There is a PSA Order Tracker thread on blowout that I follow. Presently there has to be ZERO internal controls on the order processing. My guess is that graders are just walking into the areas where orders are stored and just randomly grab orders to process.
Not a huge fan of SGC's at this time, but for whatever the reason, there are no delays there and they process submissions in the order they receive them. Clearly PSA's pissing off and frustrating submitters has not hurt their business in the least and may very well be contributing to their success. Stockholm syndrome for the PSA faithful. Honestly it is a horribly run company and the present management has no better handle on it than the previous. |
DAY 32 and done!
Wow, pretty much all I can say. 62 cards at the express level of $150 per card and they are finally graded and on their way back. Oh, by the way (6 upcharges) toalling $1500 more on the orginal bill! I will post the Carolina Brights grades on the other thread. thanks, Jeff W
