Cool....there are a lot of us collectors here in NC.....

I'm in Charlotte.

Simple solution to all the USPS delays: Have the people that run the Chick-Fil-A drive thru's run it..we'll have our stuff the next day.

I will say in my experience Greensboro's downfall is fairly recent. Back this summer and earlier, some of my First Class packages would actually show up the day before their estimate...

Agreed!

Garsh I have some serious cardboard stuck in limbo right now! In the general scheme of things it's no big deal, but I can confirm things are definitely quite bogged down on my end.

It's frustrating that flat parcel mail (Christmas cards) that are postmarked only a few days ago from far away can get here on time, but first class and priority packages cannot. Uh, can I trade a Christmas card for my baseball cards? :(

Well, I do get Christmas cards with baseball cards inside, so there's that option. LOL

priority
They keep using that word. I do not think it means what they think it means.

Thanks for bringing a smile to my face as I keep checking tracking numbers only to see In Transit with no updates for several days.

I know we've found that the Greensboro distribution center sucks but I've had 2 packages drop off the face of the earth in the White Planes center in the last week and half. Has anyone else had similar issues with this center?

Ok, cant guarantee this will work, but worked for me.

Sent something USPS Overnight, and they guarantee it the next day or your money back.

It arrived in 2 days. Went to the post office asking for my 42.00 back and they wrote me a money order for $42.

My item shipped for free......and only took 2 days.

jchcollins 12-19-2020 12:35 PM

This morning an eBay order from 12/13 was delivered, (I'm not complaining...) while one from 12/4 has been sitting at the hub for 6 straight days now. #Insanity.

Foreign mail is affected too. I bought a card from Greece, after two months where it had not tracked beyond the initial scan there I put in for a refund, then after another month it showed up.

Waiting for an OJ that I bought from x2drich2000 and was shipped on the 16th that needed to go about 12 miles as the crow flies. It went through a North Jersey hub and hasn't seen the light of day since the 18th. Bring back the Pony Express.

It's probably out trying to find the real killer.

Just notified by post office that my eBay auction win was just delivered. The thing is I live in NY and my package was delivered at mailbox to some location in Chicago. Don’t think COVID has anything to do with this.

Unbelievable. Hope it gets too you! I’m waiting for several items that have not moved for 2-weeks.

Murphy's Law being what it is, the packages I care least about are showing up more or less timely and the ones I care most about are taking the longest.

judsonhamlin 12-22-2020 05:45 PM

On the upside, an OPC hockey set I bought of a seller in Ontario arrived pretty quickly. There was never a delivery scan entered though.

Wimberleycardcollector 12-23-2020 10:45 PM

I’ve had no issues and I ship between 7-10 packages a week from Ebay sales. I only ship USPS two day priority. Maybe one or two have arrived one day later but most of this year I’ve had no problems.
