I am on pins and needles.
More cards to sell off once I get them back. |

Guys..PSA is currently running about 85-100. There is NO RHYME OR REASON as to when this sub will pop. No, we CAN NOT BRING THE ENTIRE 356 card order back because you needed them in time for the National. My advice is, if you need cards by a certain time, pay the pricier submission fee. Super Express is $75 for 8 days and Regular is $20 for 25 days.

How many days deep are we on this one?
I asked a while ago but i didn't get a concise answer. ;):D:o:):(:confused::mad::p:rolleyes::cool::eek: |

My apologies...I could have swore I put in the thread when they logged in. Maybe I only did it on the title. They got logged in on April 4th. |
So they are logged in April 4th. Is it 60 days from that point?
They are so backed up they should stop taking orders. |
It is approximately 85 business days since April 4 for them to finish. However, orders like this are usually later than the expectation because there are so many oddballs are obscure issues that may require research submitted.
Oh, and if they stretch through the week of the National, that week doesn't count either. |

Not for Beckett either: their bulk (nonguaranteed) orders are taking 12-16 months to return, and that's even when they charge your credit card upon logging. I can't believe their big submitters haven't filed some kind of lawsuit on them for that abuse of power.
But then, maybe those are the same guys taking advantage of their inability to detect altered cards as well, so they don't want to draw attention to the scheme. (Well, most of those BGS scammers seem to submit modern which needs a quicker turnaround time before the prospects turn into pumpkins.) |

That is what happens when people send in so many oddball cards that have never been graded before.....ever. We are now a couple months in and haven't left "Research and ID". I'm not complaining....it is what it is. But for those expected a quick turnaround on a 350 card bulk order with rarities and what not will surely be disappointed.

I had multiple bulk orders pop in 2 weeks with 65 day estimate. ...Don't have the answers and not sure I want to know. |

My 1962 Mars Attacks set popped in 2 weeks. But every single card was Mars Attacks. I find when the sub is pretty much standard it is easier. When the sub bounces around all over the place with unique cards that they have to add specs for is when it takes awhile.

annoying 90s inserts and it was shipped out 2 weeks later. I agree that stuff bogs down an order so I was totally surprised. When we do a bulk sub like yours, I try to keep it plain jane. The weirdo items go in with my personal orders. |
psa bulk submission
This sounds more like PSA are a bunch of newbies who have no idea how to handle oddball cards or bulk submissions.
Seems to me, if they can't handle oddball cards in a timely manner, then don't allow them in the bulk sub. Although they can pass trimmed cards at a rapid fashion ! Give me any card and I can find the set in a few hours. Are these guys outsourcing to little kids in India? WTF? Had I known they dragged their feet to double the time, I wouldn't have submitted. But what's done is done. (I put no blame on our host submitter) |
We have moved on to "GRADING".
|
Quote:
My understanding is that there are less graders who do oddball. If the intake employee sees anything but plain topps and bowman, it goes to a more specialized grader. There’s only so many oddball graders to go around so that causes a backup. |
What’s the over/under on these popping before the national?
|
Quote:
My experience is that GRADING is the longest of the stages of the submittal process. I would say it ain't no way that the sub makes it back in time, but I am rooting for ya!!! |

I am aware there is no way they will be physically available
by the national. I was referring to the grades popping online. |

They have been graded. Now we have moved to 'assembly'.
|
Speaking generally, it's unreal that after finding out PSA either A) has absolutely no idea what they are doing when it comes to grading cards or B) they are involved in a massive card grading fraud, that it's business as usual for many saps still sending them money for their completely useless opinions on card conditions. Why not send to GMA. What's the difference.
|
Someone posted that the grades do not pop until the shipping phase, at least until they preview the flip information to confirm with the submitter that they haven't created any noticeable mechanical errors.

Things never said about PSA: They are better at grading. They are more consistent. Cards look better in their slabs. They have the best slabs. |
