I know it's not a 1914 Cracker Jack or a T206, but I was glad to work out a deal with a fellow board member for these two cards.

I knew that portrait of Jennings on your card Daryl looked familiar. It is the same portrait that is used on his 1916 Tango Eggs card... Nice cards!!!

Beautiful card Ben.

BTW, what is a "F Scott Fitzgerald" in card lingo? I know he is the famous author, but I am confused about the card being called that.

Thanks Dustin. Jennings appears in this pose in a handful of other sets as well.

Thanks to everyone. Here is a link to a thread I started when I found this card on EBay. There are some very good explanations by some great people on this forum about the "F" stamp and the supposed relation to F Scott Fitzgerald. The debate is still out there, but I chose to be a believer! :)
Worst case scenario, I have a T206 Hall of Famer!

There's another one of these "F" marked cards on ebay right now, I just don't remember which card it is! I didn't know what the stamp meant at the time until I read this thread and was convinced you bought the card I had seen since I saw it the same day you purchased yours, but it's definitely a different card. Let the hunt begin!!!

Yes, but let's reopen the debate. Does the F stand for F. or for Fitzgerald?

Both very nice Leon, the one on the right being a better match in design to the GQ packs. What are your impressions of the differences between the two (date, original contents, etc.)?

Thanks to George Gogol (both father and son) for this one

George (the son) is the one we see on the board more often. While going through their combined T206 collection, they found this one in George's (the dad) collection. George reached out to me and yesterday, this beauty arrived to rejoin the other 258 in the rebuilt collection. Thanks again to George II and George III.

The other day, I was writing a little Pirates history article and realized that I didn't have any Woody Jensen cards. It was his birthday, so I said what better day to pick one up. Looking at my three choices on ebay, I couldn't decide, so I bought all three. Same seller, free shipping, total cost: $18.50! Can't beat that. Love the prices on these 1936 Goudey/Fine Pen cards
