Brian:
Great pick-ups on the 2 Waner Pre-Rookies, both are first ever cards. |
Great snag Brian. You got a nice deal on the Waners. I would have given you a run for your money if I were still in the market for a '23 Waner.

Thank you, Phil and Derek. What I also like, because they came from the same owner, is the PSA numbers are sequential.

Brad,
Nice RUTH Autograph. |
Thanks Steve should be in hand on mid next week. I have a JSA cert coming with it but want to get it slabbed by PSA or SGC so it's a bit more protected from me and my kids. lol

Upgrade of 1937 R314 Type 5 Canadian Goudey "Wide Pen" Premium
http://imagehost.vendio.com/a/204295...KEYUPGRADE.JPG
......Scanned using ''Color Photograph'' setting trying to capture the actual original matte finish....they appeared as being somewhat weak and faded even when brand new , especially if compared to their Type 4 ''Creamy'' cousins . ...the upgrade has better everything , especially the registration . ....seller said that ''they'd been kept in a book all these years''.. ....I believe that to be true because they look like new ... ...She had eleven and I bought them all.....my precious and brilliant grand-daughters will be attending the local community college for their freshman year instead of Smith and Wellesley and Vassar like they claim I had once promised them.... |

....very welcome upgrade of Coach O'Brien....he's hard to find ; a lot of kids didn't keep cards that weren't of actual current ballplayers. |

Upgrade of 1937 R314 Type 5 Canadian Goudey "Wide Pen" Premium
http://imagehost.vendio.com/a/204295...PGRADE_NEW.JPG
.......Bob Seeds went on to play for the Yankees I think... ......the WidowGarcia has informed me that she can not see hardly any difference at all between my original card and the sharp bright crisp unstained new upgrade ;.....I'll keep her anyway. |
