Thanks David for another nice E99. Not a floating head this time but it helps me to the finish line in this set. Someone asked about how many "floating heads" there were, off the top of my head there are just the Melchior and McArdle I picked up, along with the Mohler.

Who knows? :) For now I stuck one in my type-card collection and the other in my HOF Collection.

Thanks Derek. I was as a bit shocked as well as this is my 7th or 8th one that I have picked up and chalked it as being a reprint too since all the others had come back that way. I even told the seller that I was pretty sure it was coming back to him as a reprint but he was a great guy and had no problem with that but had maintained (as did they all) it was original. So I'll chalk it up as a blind squirrel gets a nut once in a while. :)

Picked these up in the last Baggers Auction. He always has some great esoteric stuff. Both of these are upgrades...added a 1931 Cubs Pic Pack....found under some stuff :)

REA is auctioning off the Dietsche Tigers post card set sans the two Cobbs and the Crawford. But that would give me something to work on. And, in the mean time, my favorite two from the set after the Cobb batting, the Hughie Jennings, and the incredible Coughlin, are included.

My compliments on two really nice additions to your collection.

I love the Jennings pose as he looks so animated!

The 8s and 9s are from the breakup of the #1 set on the PSA Registry. I matched the cert#s with the set sold on REA back in 2010. The set had an unbelievable GPA of 7.70. As far as I can tell, there are only 3 C46s that have been graded as Mint. All three were from the PSA registry (nothing that high in the SGC registry) and all three were from the #1 set. I should have used the seller's scans because mine don't do them justice.

Finally, the first upgrades to my Goudey set in 11 months. And I've really been trying. Another 75 upgrades to go. :D:D:D

Wow those goudey's are real nice. Very hard to come across 8's on any goudey's. When they seem to come up you pay for em haha. Very nice cards though. Best of luck on the upgrade.

Glad to have a Schweitzka back in my collection. Love the black uniform, and demeanor. Dude played only one season in organized ball, 26 games, 81 at bats. Probably just happened to be in right place at right time to get a card ;).

Have had a complete 1921 Boxing Exhibit collection for years. Always wanted to add a wrestler, finally got one :)
