Great cards, but I have to admit I am a little confused on the Walsh. The front says "Blank Back," but the back scan shows "Famous and Barr." Is this the same card? Thank You, Brian Van Horn |

An eclectic group of cards
"Pebbly Jack" Glasscock was a darn good SS; and, a pretty good hitter (1898....BA = .352). Some of his NL fielding records stood for 90 years until.....
Anyone want to venture a guess as to what player broke them ? http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/d...dgeglassck.jpg Some of us collect "strange" and challenging T206 sub-sets :) http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/d...mdelehanty.jpg http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/d...ydrumbacks.jpg These guys played only 10 games in the 1910 season for their respective St. Louis teams.....so, why do we have to spend a small fortune to acquire them ? :) http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/d...az/demmitt.jpghttp://i529.photobucket.com/albums/d...zaz/aohara.jpg 1912 http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/d...mmittohara.jpg Ruth says he called his HR in Wrigley Field (1932 W.S.).....and, Charley Root (pitcher) said he didn't.....what is the truth ? http://i1255.photobucket.com/albums/...psbe214c6f.jpg 71 years, and no one has approached Ted's .406 ..... And, Joe's 56-game hitting streak most likely will never be broken. Which one of these guys were the 1941 MVP ? http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/d...lltwjd1943.jpghttp://i529.photobucket.com/albums/d...layballgrn.jpg 1949 LEAF ..... two very tough rookie cards from what is probably the toughest post-WWII set to complete. http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/d...zaz/paige2.jpg ...... http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/d...flarrydoby.jpg CASEY STENGEL's "brat-pack" http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/d...bluemantle.jpghttp://i1255.photobucket.com/albums/...psabb30638.jpg http://i1255.photobucket.com/albums/...ps06dca79b.jpg .................................................. .................................................. .....\............................... very rare GRAY BACK ............................../ TED Z |

Holy Cow  These cards are impressive everyone.
I have nothing to compare to what has been showcased so far but I still want to participate. In Chris's original post he said he wanted to see beaters too, so I put one of my HOFer beaters in here for you all to drool over. Then a few others that I like. Thanks, AndyH |
