Bresnahan
Jeff - That picture of Bresnahan is awesome - I love the pictures of the catchers with the old protective equipment. Always wished the T206 set had a card of Bresnahan with the catching gear (not just the portrait and batting).

Nice Pickup, Jeff!! That's a rich man's Sepia PC796 ;)

Hello all, new to the forum. Started collecting again a couple years ago after I randomly picked up a pack of 2009 Topps Heritage at a Target to share with my kids. I used to collect when I was a kid, have reclaimed many of those cards and then some.

Nice pick ups on Ruth and Foxxxxxxxxxx. |

Sweet, Tony! Awesome that the staining didn't affect any of the Donovan portrait, aside from the border. It reminds me of your awesome EPDG Bender portrait.

Looks like Pepto Bismol bath to me!

Maybe blue fountain pen ink that someone has tried to get out? Just a thought. Perhaps the original owner was using as a blotter and then some collector got the card and soaked it in something to try and get rid of the ink. The rest of the card looks so worn that I have to think it's been soaked a bunch.

T202 Wheat Signed
Bought this on ebay many years ago. Sold it in a Mastro auction after I acquired a dupe. Just bought it back this month because I traded my dupe a couple of years ago. Very happy to welcome it back into the (triple) fold....

This aquisition actually started in August
Lot of eight PSA graded cards with front scans only. I could see that two of the cards had the MK qualifier, but no mention of what earned the card the MK. After several emails to the seller, found that one of the cards did have Howe's stamp, as did five other cards he found in his collection rather quickly.

Kevin was kind enough to email me and let me know this one was up for bids, and I was able to get it. <a href="http://s150.photobucket.com/albums/s81/T206ster/?action=view&current=195Ritchey.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s81/T206ster/195Ritchey.jpg" border="0" alt="195 Ritchey"></a> These 10 bring the total in the rebuilt collection up to 195. Never imagined when I started four and a half years ago I would ever find half this many. |
