It's not a Mantle. :( But definitely an impulse buy. I've always dug the OPC due to their relative scarcity vs their Topps counterparts.

A slippery slope for a budget collector like me is to decide to upgrade cards I already have. I told myself I wouldn't do it. But the 73 Aaron in my framed display was just bugging me too much to not spend $8. Last month I bought a 72 album this month a 70 album. In bad shape but has 274 of the 300 cards in it. Cards are in real nice shape though. Rick

Finally finished with my first vintage set. 1959 Topps. Pretty happy with it. Will upgrade a few as they come my way but for now I am happy with the results. VG-NM range.

What a great way to bring the month of May to a close. Congrats on adding an incredible looking Mantle to your collection. It is going to be hard to stop smiling over that addition.

Lol well that wasn't the intent. I'm just that excited to have it in hand. It's by far the nicest card I will ever own and I don't think many of my friends and family care much about baseball cards. I had to share it some where.
