Great article which includes some things that I remember seeing in the movie 42 but wasn't sure if they really happened or were just Hollywood additions to the story.

It looks like Dale's card has the red streak, but it is almost cut off. I guess it is more noticeable on cards which don't have good T/B centering.

I find it odd, however, that Masi is part of the H&S set yet Boyer isn't?

Excuse my ignorance and inexperience, Al, but who actually decided/concluded the cards currently in the SS as the final cards, or is it technically still open?

Just a guess here, but I assume it was guys like yourself, Bob Lemke and other experienced, knowledgeable collectors, through analysis, decided what qualified and what didn't as far as variations go, etc, who agreed what would be included and what wouldn't?
