In Louisville. If you ever get here, the Louisville Slugger Bat Museum is worth a visit |

And my 2 Frank House cards.
Bob, I notice your yellow tiger House has no green tint/hue on the neck either. From what I gather from some info I obtained here, this card is even more tough/rare as most have the green hue? Curious what your thoughts are on it? |

Because there are transition cards I tend to view the House as a print defect rather that a variation, but know others differ. It is interesting that the yellow versus the orange tiger also exist on the gray backs ( it has been posted in other threads), so that may lend weight to the variation view. If transition cards exist in gray as well, and adding in Dale's green slime version, no telling how many Houses it takes to have a full house

My Bob Young. It's a good thing he wasn't the great pitcher because the Bob Young Award just doesn't sound as good to me.
|
In 1953 Bob was one of only 4 white MLB players invited to join the Jackie Robinson interracial barnstorm Fall schedule. The others were Hodges, Rosen and Branca. Those players had to sit out some games in the south due to state or local laws prohibiting interracial mixing in such games

The only thing that I can see on the Young card is that there is a very small area (2mm x 1mm) at the upper left corner where the white ink border is chipped away and is exposing the cardboard underneath - that could be the cause. |

Here is my card for today, when it was still in its SGC holder. It's in a stack of other cards ready to go to PSA whenever they start accepting submissions again...

Friday is Ted Beard day. It's also the start of the first Philly Show in over a year. Can't wait to get there this afternoon.

Similar story here. We are finally allowed in our summer park/campground where I don't have to stay less than 24 hrs or 14 days in a row. I can come and go like normal and don't have to wait 14 days until I am allowed to return if I did leave. This will be my first trip up there this spring/summer so I know I will have lots to do but it always worth it. :) |
