I was reading through another thread, talking about how hard it was to get certain players to sign, to complete a set, and it started to make me wonder about the 52 set. Who from this one, was the most difficult? I would think Campanella partially due to his condition. I'm sure many will chime in with an answer.

Apologies for posting 2 out of order, but I will be in Montana for a time with limited internet access.
Shantz is not listed in the H& S Super Set but can be found with a recurring red blob in lower left front border. Many cards can be found with remnants of it. Even my cleanest version has a trace of it. Was there and intervention to remove or reduce the defect, or did it just peter out. I have not idea. Does anyone have a completely clean version ? https://hosting.photobucket.com/imag...080&fit=bounds The Super Set does list Baumholtz as having a tan or brown background. This was the best contrast I could find. Not much. Maybe someone has a better contrast https://hosting.photobucket.com/imag...080&fit=bounds |
