Posted By: Tim
And another thing I will say in Josh's defense.

Ryan, you can't give a guy that claims to be a handicapper a hard time about picks three or four games deep into a tournament when he had to pick them all from the start.

A true capper picks weighs each game when he knows the opponent each will be facing. When there is an upset in the tournament you don't have the opportunity to go back and reevaluate your pick.

Posted By: Josh
Ryan,

i will be at the national and i am really looking forward in meeting you. I actually can't wait. I honestly would pay to meet you sooner than that. I am done with this thread. I am pretty sure that you have no clue who you are dealing with. As far as the IRS goes I pay taxes on all my winnings
if you are a professional gambler you must do it the right way and for my occupation I specify gambling.. Maybe your upset and not happy with your life. You are probably overweight and have a cheating wife so you have to start something that you cannot finish.. What a shame we cannot meet earlier though ya know? I was not bragging at all about my capping. i simply stated that I spent hours doing it as i do everyday.

Posted By: Rhys
This thread reminds me of when LT has Bobby Boucher from the Waterboy come to his football camp and after listening to him rant for a minute says, "that reminds me kids, dont do crack".

Right now LT would say, "remember kids save your money and dont gamble."

Posted By: Bob
Overweight and a cheating wife?
It is pretty obvious you know nothing about Ryan. Plus he has enough friends on this board that I am sure he isn't losing any sleep over not being your buddy.
I think the whole point here is that in 5 years not one winner of the Net 54 Board contest ever crowed about it or bragged about his handicapping prowess. It is so easy to go from the penthouse to the outhouse in tourney picking. I know I have the Jayhawks to go all the way and if they crash and burn against Davidson, I plummet. Such is life...
Posted By: Bob
NC has looked unbelievable so far in the tourney. In all the years I have watched or witnessed NCAA basketball tournaments, I have never seen a year when the four number one seeds looked so dominant. I realize Kansas and Memphis still have to prove themselves tomorrow, but the number of blow-out games and the ease in which the 4 #1s are advancing is astounding.
