I am really impressed with the level of discussion here but have been silent because my collection is on the other side of the country. I started buying Topps in 67 and soon started buying the older stuff via the mail, flea markets, and one very early show (1971?). Picked up a lot of t206's around 1970-72 and have been in and out of the hobby ever since. I don't so much collect entire sets but select players that are well known from sets that I like, such as E-90's, CJ's, E-135'2, M101-4/5's, and E121's. I am always interested in the Pirates, along with the Giants, White Sox and everybody else.

I noticed a number of people also trying to put together t205 / t206 sets, which is wonderful. They are both fantastic sets. If anyone need any specific players I have a few dozen dupes and might be able to sell/trade them. Good luck to all and have fun putting them together, I know that we had a blast with our T206 set.

Age 28.<br />Married for 3 years - just had our first child - a baby boy (3 months)!!!!!<br />Job title is Engineer, but I don't do much engineering work.<br /><br />Sets I'm working on: 48 & 50 & 53 Bowman, and a slow-going 1939 Playball. Mix of raw and graded. Was toying with 1933 goudey. Just started M101-2 and Butterfingers. Pretty new to pre-war, so the more I learn/research the more I want!!! Some nice caramels and cabinets out there so I might start dipping in those too. Have yet to be bit by the T206 bug that everyone seems to enjoy here.
