#1 on your wantlist?

Posted By: Jeff McKee
A Cobb with the front like the one Bruce has listed in his picture area 2 posts up from here, with any back type. D whatever?

1887 Allen & Ginter Cap Anson I would say. All of those cards were done classy and just done right.

Has anyone ever noticed this little “y” on the 1915 Cracker Jack Demaree #92 or have any info on it?

I once bumped an old thread just to watch it die.

Top of my list for a while now.
Need a "Bat On" to complete the Ty Cobbs of my T2o6 set-build. Gladly accepting donations 😊

I think there has probably been a more aged bump. As for me, I don't know what I am looking for, but I will know it when I see it!!

Well the lesson here is that good thread topics are well received no matter how old. So in the spirit of this one...#1 on my list would be 1914 CJ Mathewson.

17 years and I still haven't picked up the 1918 Zeenuts Lefty O'Doul. May not be in the cards for me, so to speak. But I did get one that I like every bit as much, so it all worked out.

1949 Sommer & Kaufmann card signed by Lefty. A tough set to find at all, PSA has graded no Lefty cards from either S&K issue. I suspect this signed specimen is the only one in the world.

478. “Loose lips sink flips.”
The time honored maxim that it is best not to be too forthcoming in letting people know what hard-to-find cards you’re actively pursuing, because anyone having one of those cards will know they now have you over a barrel.

This one would complete my W575-2 set.

E103 Wagner - it would complete my set…

At least that won't get you in Folsom Prison.

The performance of that song, at that venue, was absolutely riveting and a truly great musical moment IMO.

Is it somewhere here?

Been looking for a Weed, Spokane OBAK and 2 T210s to finish my Ft Worth team set for quite some time.

ValKehl 12-14-2022 08:59 PM

Any Sam Rice card I don't already have.

pokerplyr80 12-14-2022 09:42 PM

I want to add a t206 bat off and on cobb again. I still regret letting those go. If we don't limit to cards we can actually afford a Ruth RC is #1 on my list.
