Picked up a few upgrades for my T200 Fatima set
Oh, and Cobb.:D |
Nice Cobb. I have always felt that card is one of the best looking ones of him (of course I have 2, so I am feathering my own nest...).
Maybe he will catch up, in value, to some less than great looking cards of his.... Quote:

Front and back of a 1930s French magazine page that includes Ruth in its baseball article. Appears to be translation of a conversational piece on presenting baseball to overseas audiences. Edges looked trimmed because it's juuuuuuust a bit bigger than my scanner. :-)

Great pick up Gary (glad it went to a good home). Yes, certainly 1860s not 1875. I have 3 gem types all single portraits and I have never seen one with more than 1 player let alone an entire team. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Chuck- great rare backs, and a few HOFers too!

E91-a Johnny Kling American Caramel

Thrilled to have grabbed this E91-a Johnny Kling American Caramel off of eBay with a BIN!
Centering, registration, and corners are outstanding! Will make a nice companion piece to go along with my Bresnahan E91-a. Both cards actually resemble the players! Patrick |
T206 Peaches Graham
2 Attachment(s)
Picked up another Peaches Graham T206 that has all the red markings on the uniform to go with my other Graham T206 which only has the red marking on the right wrist but is missing the red on his hat, collar, and at the elbows of the uniform.

Some raw Kentucky boys from a board member!
Very excited about these as I spent half my life in KY and know all the Bluegrass League towns very well and have family in a couple of them. My OCD has always kept me away from the T210’s, but what the hell, a few won’t hurt! Thanks, Bob |

REA could have saved me a lot of trouble if they had just put these in the same auction!

Circa baseball card insertion era inside Cracker Jack boxes. I wonder which player was inside these boxes :)
I'm a sucker for companion pieces like this. 2 real photo postcards! https://photos.imageevent.com/threet...egirlcjpc1.jpg https://photos.imageevent.com/threet...egirlcjpc2.jpg |

1907 Dietsche Postcard Edward Siever. Supposedly there is a mark on the postcard. Unless it's that little line above his bio, I can't find one.

Mayday, mayday, our work is done here as May Day has arrived, and thus the posting of a newly arrived sample 1939 Play Ball card shall likely conclude the April shower of pickups this thread did weave.
