These W503 cards of Bill Ryan and Aaron Ward have great, sharp, full body action poses with stadium backdrops.

Not a lot of these around:

Very cool Andrew. What do the backs look like?
|
Thanks, Ryan. Here are the backs. I believe less than 5 total graded of each…

These store displays are not rare per se, but definitely not something that you see every day.

1940s/50s postcard from St. Petersburg's "Kids and Kubs" softball league. Player minimum age was 75 and they made Connie Mack (seated, dark suit + hat) an honorary member.

Images of cards rarely seen!
I already posted this in the February pickup thread, but I think it’s worthy of posting here. I don’t believe there’s another picture on the Internet of this card.

Ryan, Leon, etc...Seeing your (amazing) PCs, Cabinets, Cards from the 1800's reminds me of the famous quote from Ken Burns' Baseball documentary...
"In our sun-down perambulations, of late, through the outer parts of Brooklyn, we have observed several parties of youngsters playing "base", a certain game of ball...Let us go forth awhile, and get better air in our lungs. Let us leave our close rooms...the game of ball is glorious." -Walt Whitman, from the 23 July 1846 edition of the Brooklyn Daily Eagle |

To the best of my knowledge, this is the only copy of the Voskamp's Robinson. There is no Mensor. I would be thrilled to see any images of either.
