Yes, Columbus Red Birds. Per the seller - " We date this sign as prior to 1941, when Johnnie Neblett left broadcasting the Columbus Redbirds to move to St Louis and then Chicago. Neblett was killed tragically in a plane crash in 1946. So the sign almost certainly dates to the late 1930s, perhaps 1940 or no later than 1941." The sign measures 13 1/2 x 27 1/4 and was made by the Donaldson Art Sign Co. in Covington, Ky. |
