Just noticed the Bodie Obak...not only an interesting player, but one of my favorite Obak designs, and your example is stunning. Most of the Pollard Collection cards I have seen are incredibly top notch, and this one is a shining example of why Obaks are such cool cards. Great pickup!

Looking past all the minor damages, I like the clarity and colors that can be seen in his face. You can really see the blue of his eyes and the gold in his hair on this one, which is not the case with all 1’s, happy to have him

Picked this up through REA. The second T211 Memphis card I've crossed off the checklist. At my rate of one a year, guess I'm in it for the long haul. Has some notebook paper stuck on the back, but honestly I'll take what I can get when it comes to picking these up. And great pickups by the rest of y'all! Always love seeing the diversity of items that this group comes across.

Picked up this Johnny Priest 1910 Contentnea in last night's Sterling auction. He played 9 games for NYAL 1911-12. His only BB card and a nice photographic image.

That is what I meant; there is no trim that I can see. Back damage should at least draw a grade. I have the Ruth in a PSA4 that does not have borders as full as yours. Puzzling?

Not pre-war, but have been looking for this card for a while now, finally found it

Very happy to have won this last night in the Brockelman auction.

Won soo much in Goldin last night. They do such a bad job at describing some of the vintage. I got two SGC 3 T206 Sov's, one a George Stone for my PC. Got a Fatima T200 Phils with Alexander/ Mayer for the PC, and, to flip got the 1909-10 Leland Giants RPPC for about 40% what it sold for in 2017.
