Diamond Stars are my favorite set. Like T3s I find it very hard to isolate a specific card that I find more attractive than the others. Today, I will go with these two. One for the abstract background and one for the action pose with the cool shadows.

These are my 3 go-to. I own these but THESE copies are not mine! (wish they were!) :

The 60 set had a different design just for managers that really work well.

I'm also partial to catcher cards, as you can tell...

Great cards! I always loved the 'Field of Dreams' Paul Richards card. :)

Great assortment of great looking cards.
Shown many times but there could be someone that hasn't seen it :).
When I saw this one, as my first collection was to go up for auction, I was mesmerized by it :)

T-202s Cobb/Jennings with the classic Conlon Cobb sliding photo by and the Chance/Tinker combo with Evers sliding in the middle.... I don't have scans handy.
I'll try to add them and maybe some others from this set which seems not to be getting its due.
I'm also surprised no ones posted any great 19th Century Old Judge, Mayos or other photos. Maybe beautiful isn't quite the right word but some of them are really special.

If there is any such thing as the ultimate pre-war card, it is this one.

I can't believe the beauty in all of these cards. Amazing examples picked by everyone. Well done!

There's no way to follow when Leon posts that card...but someone has to [although I see now others have done so before me]. Diamond Stars are my favorite set but N173s are my favorite cards. I justify this by saying that, yes, N173s are a "set" in that they have a catalog designation and a name but you can't realistically collect them as a set (except for maybe one person).

Anyway, here's one I have always liked: Seery and the Magic Bat.

Ted, I said it another thread, and I say again, that album is just a thing of beauty. To me, it just doesn't get any better. This gets my vote as the most beautiful in the hobby!

Outstanding choices, guys. I will toss in a few:

I think T218 is one of the most beautiful sets ever made:

I think I like the beauty seen in the non-boxing T218 cards even more than the boxers, which are as a group incredibly nice. Here are some of my favorites (the Irons card in the upper right is beautiful in its own 'coming at you with legs wide open' way).

Also this is my favorite Wheaties panel, from the same series as the Hubbell. (Mungo shown not mine. Mungo only pawn in game of life).
