Anything for a deal. Yes it was a year and a half wait, but we paid $9/card for grading.

We paid it before the shutdown. Back when everything was normal. Before PSA got innundated with a million Pokemon cards. We had no idea it was going to take a year and a half. To be frank, we will probably never get to pay below $10 per card for grading ever again.

Guys....I sure hope this isn't the case, and I am not trying to jinx us, but PSA gave me a tracking number with no activity on it.

Why do I seem to be the only one upset about the missing order!?!?!?!?

Maybe they have their own postal meter and assign a tracking number before actually posting the package. Lets see if there's any movement in the morning.

That happened to myself and another collector friend of mine last week. Took several days for the shipment to actually get shipped after shipping number created by PSA.
Hopefully that's all it is.

Were the cards insured, or are we out the cards’ market value and the grading fees? If there is no evidence that the USPS ever took possession, how is PSA not liable?

When I personally ship cards, I watch the counter person scan the package and receive a receipt. Does that not occur at PSA? When the USPS package handler comes to PSA and picks up packages, are they not scanned immediately into the system with a handheld device and a receipt created?

You had a prior submission get “lost.” That’s twice in what a year? Please tell me you are going to make a call and kick some butt. How does two submissions go missing in a year? PSA has some explaining to do. Please stay on this.

Yeah, I’m not happy about losing over four figures worth of cards, but those cards have been in my family since they were pulled from the packs. I want the cards!

Oh really???? I have NEVER had an order take several days after the shipping number was created. It was always same day.

PSA has been running a day or two for it to show up beyond "tracking number created" recently...I've had two orders ship within the last week and that was the case both times.

Did it finally get to you, if not were you compensated for its contents?

It never got to me. PSA had to cut us a large check based upon the declared value of the cards. I guess that is why I am a little leery about this one too. I already lived through it once.

We got the package today. It was weird, because it got no scans whatsoever, until it got a delivery scan today.

Thanks for the update. Great news. I saw the data USPS provided for your tracking number, and yes, it looks really weird. Nothing showing the cards were picked up, and then almost straight to delivered.

OK Guys....I have spent the last hour and a half putting these in chronological order and I am STILL NOT DONE!!! Also, I have a commitment at my job, so I am unable to do anything card related tomorrow......but I promise....Come monday, I will be contacting people asking if they need special services or anything. Thanks for beating with me.

What an absolute pain-in-the-butt it must be dealing with not only all of us, but the TPG people as well, and you never complain or bitch and moan at people, even the godforsakenly frustrating ones. After a year and a half, I guess I learned to live without the cards I had submitted. I just sold the three Maris cards and I've already consigned my 1965 set to an auction house. Likely more will be listed.

I am, I've gone further down the pre-war rabbit hole in the last 18 months. If you don't hear from me for 6 months call the Gendarmeire, they can find me locked up in Luckey or Hotchkiss's basement living on bread and water while searching for some elusive off back that some guy in Ohio allegedly owns, or knows a guy....
