I've been doing alot of reading and listening to The Monster Podcast. I love all baseball cards, but pre-war feel like an equivalent to fly fishing over bait fishing, etc. Ive learned more about T206 cards in the past week, than I ever would've expected to. Sent from my LM-G820 using Tapatalk |

My first ever t206 mailday! No real reason why I picked these up other than I liked the look of them, and they were cheaper commons. Reading this forum, and othet blogs like T206 Life and T206 Resource and listening to The Monster Podcast definitely makes me want to put all of my collecting focus on T206. The addiction is real.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...7b4b358dce.jpg

Beautiful card Jeff.
I imagine eventually PSA will start listing T205 back's on the flip in the same way the do for T206's. |

It's not pre-war, and they are barely cards, but they are still pretty cool, and likely, very tough to find. Here's a 1953 Globe Atlanta Crackers album, along with autographs. Gene Mauch is the manager at 26, Chuck Tanner is playing in the outfield, and Dick Donovan and Art Fowler anchored the pitching staff.

Nice everyone!
Great haul Chuck. Congrats on 520 Jason, what a blazer to finish it off with! |

...Goudey Premium , much needed uograde -- the smaller sepia version ; a bit over 4 x 6 ....the bottom newspaper clipping is a re-arranging of their famous Glossy and Leather versions of poses of the 1936 National Chicle R311 Premium......this never made it into circulation beyond their yearbook and some newspaper files.....we '35 Tigers fans know it as '' the no caps / batboy up in the back''......that's their mascot Joe Roggin up there next to Chief Hogsett, who had to be the happiest kid in all of Detroit Michigan in 1935..... .. |

Great pick up! Tough card and very underrated. |
Humbled to own this truly one of a kind cabinet photo to add to my Ty Cobb collection. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...4fc2fa7cd6.jpg

Hard to follow some of these recent pick ups, but you know me, I post what I got even if it is lower end goods. :D:rolleyes:
Added a few E90-1s in a recent trade and got the Keeler as a gift from a very generous fellow board member. Included in the trade was an e92 Bridwell. I'm a sucker for horizontal cards so I had to have this one thrown in on the deal. . |
That Cobb photo is awesome!

Was a little surprised that my snipe bid was the only bid, guess that's how it goes sometimes...

Happy about this one. If you collect this set you know how tough this card is.

Added a McGraw glove. I used to own a nicer example, but traded it away many years ago before I started going for the set. McGraw glove was presumably released in 1914, 1915, and 1916, so it is one of the more populous T213-2's. Current near sets,

Paid up for this one, but it is one of the few of the M101 Crawfords I did not own, and it is a very nice example for a PSA 5
