Maybe ... I've been around since before the last major site change (and introduction of 'Archive' ;) ) like maybe sometime in '07-08 originally, but my posting has been sporadic at best. 5000 is a pipe dream.

It's time to establish the brand new advanced stat of PEBL (Posts Excluding Bump Lingo).

If the number of 'bumps' (and other ways of bumping a thread) were eliminated from my count, I'd probably be down to around 150 total posts...and I ain't alone.

Do you have a lot of 'ballast' in your post count number? Figure it out with PEBL.

I'm curious if there is a way to count posts that I typed then deleted before hitting submit. As opinionated as I can sometimes be, I frequently am the only one who sees my thoughts in print.

I'm afraid most of my posts end up looking, in one fashion or another, like I have Mono or something:

It'd be cool of there was a Net54 equivalent to WAR, calculated on number of posts and amount of knowledge / common sense / intelligence contained within minus the amount of cluelessness / ignorance / idiocy. Maybe call it VIRTUE: Value In Relation To the Under Educated.

I've been on this board since 2010 and I'm getting close to 1000 post so I have a long ways to go to reach 5k

I just hit ten years here last month, and this is my 1,841st post. At that rate, I should reach 5,000 posts sometime around 2042.

I seem to have fallen off my pace from three years ago. Maybe I should push that 2042 date to the right.

Looks like I have upped my average posts per day to a whopping 2.46 now.

Another Stat to consider on the back of our net54 cards besides 5000 hit club...

Number of threads started with 100 posts on the thread, 200 posts etc. (bumps dont count those are unearned runs)

Number of threads started that Leon had to lock

Number of threads started where poster was reminded the same thread already done

A good thread starter is like a good lead off hitter....some can start a good threat but the 'heavy hitters' on the board due the clean up hitting a number of time that cause a lot more posts ..


Quickest time listing a card to 'ill take it'

And like an ofer, how many posts for card in sale in a row where it ended with no sale or send to auction, ill keep it...

Not counting Archive and Archive 2 only 8 members have 10K or more posts and sadly Ted Z is no longer with us. The other 7 of us still post on occasion.

I am not even at the half way mark of 5000, but my 15 year anniversary is coming up soon on May 3rd.

Or maybe a 35,000 post thread!
