Mine arrived from Santa on 12/17 (post 86), but I didn't see it marked in the master 'sent/received' list at the top of the thread. Not sure if my post was clear but I did receive my package from my Secret Santa. Just letting you know so the sender doesn't get in trouble with the elf muscle. :)

Great attitude! But I hope that anybody that did not send out gets the ban hammer like last year when a member did not send out anything.

That's correct. I have not received. My gift out was waiting on a lot from an eBay slow shipper.

Did everyone get their gift? If not please post that you did not receive it. Last year we had 1 person not send. Leon banned that member and I sent the member that did not get their gift a gift.

Hopefully with this list Sean can find out if the gift is on the way and the USPS is just slow or if the member did not send anything out. Hopefully Leon will ban any member that did not send anything out. If it is found that your SS did not send a gift I will happily send you out something. Merry Christmas everyone.

I will parse the lists tomorrow and inquire with everyone that either didn't send or didn't receive and work with members to verify tracking information and/or receipt of shipment.

Banning is always a last resort. But if a member were to completely ignore their commitment then someone needs to convince us (the collective board) why that person needs to be a member? That being said, there are a lot of extraordinary issues which can come up. If they are dealt with they can usually be overcome. I am confident everything will end up fine with this one. Thanks again to Sean for organizing it.

I agree Leon, there could be several good reasons for someone not getting one out. I was more referring to idiots like the guy last year who used it to get free cards.

Ken our presents was to make up for the wait.:) Now if several others chime in with I sent him one also, he made out like a bandit.

On a positive note, I opened mine this morning, and before I opened it I said I could use a Marquard T206 to get my HOF set going, and it was a T206 Marquard portrait! :) thanks secret Santa!

Agree totally. For me it was more about giving than recieving so I loved sending the extra gift. I really love the gift exchange as you neve know what you will receive. So much fun and so glad Sean takes the time to do this every year. Merry Christmas to all.

So excited to see all of the posts with Santa pickups! I totally understand that the UsPs gets swamped during Christmas, so I find it reasonable for me to wait until the 28th of December before taking any futher action in regards to SS. Merry Christmas, all! A big shout out to Sean for hosting such a cool event!

Hopefully you get it soon. I know the mail has been super slow. I sent out some cards last week for a couple kids and they were supposed to be there Saturday and they did not show up till today.

Sean who was supposed to send this gentleman something and do they have a good excuse for not sending? I understand better than most the USPS can take a very very long time to deliver but if they can't give a tracking # or insanely good excuse they need to be outed.

Yes I just scrolled back and seen that. Seriously though every thing was supposed to be sent out 3 weeks ago. I understand some wanted to get that special gift and stuff happens but dang Christmas was 1 week ago.

Maybe the SS should send Kelleys1 the tracking #.

He claims to have shipped Monday or tuesday before Christmas and has tracking number. Asked him about it last week in email and never heard from since.

Maybe he did as he stated but at least follow up with tracking.

Not really worried about the card, at this point it is about him not doing again next year if he really didn't ship.

I understand packages being lost. I know we had it happen both ways on a transaction we had once. Just my opinion that a USPS tracking # could have been provided.

Mark Fox has been banned from Net54baseball. There is more than just this Secret Santa situation not going so well for him..... Sometimes it's better if collectors find someplace else to talk cards and this is one of those times.
